Bill Nicol’s Volunteer Bursary 2011

Aquabugs Programme with NancyPort Moody Ecological Society Bursary for Active Volunteers at the Noons Creek Hatchery 2011

For many years, Bill Nicol has been collecting bottles discarded around the hatchery and recreation centre area and generously donating the deposit money to fund a scholarship for PMES volunteers.  Because we have not awarded this scholarship for several years, the funds have accumulated to approximately $3000.00.

This spring 2011, we are offering these funds as scholarship(s) to our hatchery volunteers.  We encourage those that volunteer with us and are currently enrolled in or entering post secondary education programs in fish/wildlife/environmental or related areas to apply.
