Donating: 

The Port Moody Ecological Society is a registered not-for-profit organisation (society number S27189) that relies 100% on volunteers working throughout the entire year, in all kinds of weather, to raise salmon and environmental awareness. 

We offer educational programmes to students of all ages, conduct training for our volunteers, and are proactive in our public outreach activities.  

Cheques can be sent to:

A taxation receipt will be issued to donations made over $25.  We do not have the ability to accept credit card payments.

Other ways to make a donation:

Make a tribute gift:  plant a native tree within the surrounds of the Noons Creek Hatchery or make a donation in honour of a loved one.

In memory:  Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a lovely way to remember a loved one that cared about the environment and to continue making a real difference.

Remembering us in your will ensures that the work that we do can continue for many more years, and generations, to come through bursaries and environmental projects. 

Workplace giving:  investing in people and the environment go hand in hand.  We encourage team building activities and invite employees involved in workplace giving to visit the hatchery for a tour, to volunteer by planting trees, feeding the fish, and general husbandry, a very rewarding experience for all.
